During three days of the event, more than 25 million visitors from 8 countries<\/u><\/strong> they attended lectures, panels, and exhibitions that united technology, opportunities, and information in favor of people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

<\/em><\/p>\n

Leading industry fair in Latin America, the 20th edition of the Reatech<\/strong> \u2013 International Fair of Inclusion, Accessibility and Rehabilitation, held jointly with the 2nd Brazilian Paralympic Expo<\/strong> and organized by Fiera Milano Brasil<\/strong> in partnership with Brazilian Paralympic Committee<\/strong>, transformed the S\u00e3o Paulo Expo into a large interactive arena. The space brought together Paralympic sports, professional qualification and employability opportunities, as well as therapies and treatments aimed at all types of disabilities.<\/p>\n

Issues of equality, inclusion, and accessibility were widely debated in congresses and lectures, while companies presented the most innovative technologies in mobility equipment, smart prosthetics, and virtual simulators for training and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n

More 100 exhibiting brands<\/strong>, 15 Paralympic sports<\/strong> and various attractions with news, panels, and experiences attracted an audience of 25,462 people from 8 countries<\/strong> during the three days of the event. The fair also featured the presence of authorities, influencers, and Paralympic athletes, including medalists from the Sydney, Athens, Beijing, London, and Rio de Janeiro Games. There were 145 guests and 113 speakers<\/strong>, which contributed new perspectives on accessibility and inclusion, across more than 64 hours of content.<\/p>\n

Stop Maur\u00edcio Macedo<\/strong>, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, the impact and results of this edition reinforced the fair's role as an international reference. \u201cIt was three intense days of hard work and dedication to ensure a unique experience. We all left very satisfied and with a sense of a mission accomplished. For the next edition, we project even more engagement and visibility with this very important agenda, which grows every year and mobilizes society in building a more inclusive Brazil.\u201d<\/em>, she stated.<\/p>\n

Fiera Milano Brasil was also honored during the presentation of the 360\u00ba Inclusive Action Award, which recognized companies committed to deepening the debate on inclusion and promoting consistent pathways for the full participation of people with disabilities in all areas of society.<\/p>\n

Volunteering, solidarity, and recognition<\/strong><\/p>\n

At this edition of Reatech, volunteer work was one of the pillars to ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors. According to Suely Carvalho de S\u00e1 Yanez<\/strong>, responsible for coordinating the volunteers, about 125 volunteers<\/u><\/strong> they worked over the 3 days on different fronts, such as public reception, support for the movement of people with visual impairments and reduced mobility, and assistance in Libras, facilitating access to activities and booths. \u201cWe always look to bring together qualified people who are committed to the cause of accessibility. Volunteering at Reatech is recognized for the excellence and care with which each participant dedicates themselves to offering compassionate service.\u201d<\/em>, Suely pointed out.<\/p>\n

Among the volunteers, Armando Tafner<\/strong>, 63 years old, retired, has been collaborating for over ten years using his experience in Libras. \u201cVolunteering at Reatech is a way to give back everything I've learned about accessibility and inclusion throughout my life. Our work makes a difference so that everyone has full access to the fair and can participate with autonomy and respect.\u201d<\/em>, she stated.<\/p>\n

In addition to the actions aimed at accessibility, the fair also hosted the Doctors Without Borders (MSF)<\/strong>, an international humanitarian organization recognized for bringing medical assistance to vulnerable people in more than 70 countries. During the event, the MSF booth assisted more than 150 people and brought the public closer to themes related to operations in conflict zones, natural disasters, and humanitarian crises \u2014 reinforcing Reatech's commitment to promoting solidarity, care, and health in different realities.<\/p>\n

Innovation and connections that transform<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reatech concludes its 20th edition consolidated as the leading exponent and promoter of inclusive attitudes in the country. By making space for debates, experiences, and connections, the event reaffirms its role as a transformative platform for the community, encouraging dialogue and human and social development.<\/p>\n

As part of the schedule, on the first day of the event, during the opening ceremony, the five honorees of the Accessible S\u00e3o Paulo Award were announced, highlighting places in the city committed to accessibility and inclusion. Criteria such as ease of access, respect for limitations, integration, and proper service were evaluated. The winners were: Parque da M\u00f4nica (Kids and Family Space), Museu do Ipiranga (Cultural Space), Parque Villa-Lobos (Parks and Squares), Allianz Parque (Sports Space), and SESC 24 de Maio (Entertainment Space).<\/p>\n

Among the exhibitors, the feeling was one of recognition and engagement.<\/p>\n

Paulo C\u00e9sar Fernandes<\/strong>, commercial director of Ortobr\u00e1s highlighted the public's interest in new products and technologies. <\/strong>\u201cIt was great! We had a very interactive and engaged audience, with a lot of interest in new products and technologies. I think this inclusive movement of the fair is amazing, because it is an opportunity to showcase innovations, social programs, and Paralympic programs. Reatech fully fulfilled its purpose.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

For Leandro Papicho<\/strong>, sales manager of MovingJet<\/strong>, the fair was an important space for closing new business. \u201cThe trade fair was quite positive for us. We were able to present our products to many people interested in learning about new technologies. We work not only with scooters, but also with carbon fiber walkers, and participation was excellent for brand awareness. This year's turnout was satisfactory, similar to the previous one, and we managed to close some deals\u2014we certainly intend to return in future editions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Now Fernanda de Lima Jacinto<\/strong>, sales coordinator of Viamar highlighted the satisfactory participation and potential for future sales. <\/strong>\u201cViamar's participation was very satisfactory. We were able to prospect many clients with potential for future sales. This inclusive movement of the fair is necessary, conscious, and represents the future.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
