The program, launched in 2020, aims to encourage developers to create solutions that contribute to the inclusion of people with disabilities, using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecmundo.com.br\/inteligencia-artificial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">artificial intelligence<\/a>\u00a0of the company.<\/p>\n<p>According to the e-commerce giant, the project received applications from nearly 100 skills for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecmundo.com.br\/alexa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alexa<\/a>\u00a0that benefit people with disabilities, of which 10 were chosen to participate in the final stage. Among these, the top three will be awarded prizes, as well as the institutions nominated by them.<\/p>\n<p>The developers who take first place will win a cash prize of R$ 10,000 and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecmundo.com.br\/produto\/154418-amazon-lanca-echo-studio-brasil-r-1-5-mil.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Echo Studio<\/a>, in addition to having the opportunity to choose one NGO from among the preselected organizations to receive a donation of R$ 50,000.<\/p>\n<p>The skill that finishes in second place will receive 5,001 R$\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecmundo.com.br\/produto\/150765-echo-show-8-chega-brasil-amazon-alexa-tela-inteligente.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Echo Show 8<\/a>, and can donate R$ 35,000 to an organization, while the third-place winner will receive an Echo Show 8, an Echo, and a smart home kit from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecmundo.com.br\/positivo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Positive<\/a>\u00a0and a donation of 15,000 R$ to the selected NGO.<\/p>\n<h2>Finalist skills of the Alexa Accessibility Award<\/h2>\n<p>Evaluated based on usability, design, development quality, and user experience, among other criteria, the Alexa skills competing for the award are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accessible S\u00e3o Paulo bus tracker, by Felipe Borges<\/li>\n<li>Art Beyond Sight, by Ulysses BML<\/li>\n<li>Braille Game, by Diego Negrelli<\/li>\n<li>My Map, by Michel Fernandes<\/li>\n<li>More Accessibility, by Grupo Fleury<\/li>\n<li>Sound Memory, by Splora<\/li>\n<li>Task Guide, by Caroline de Souza Evangelista<\/li>\n<li>Virtual Journey, by Tech RCS<\/li>\n<li>Where do I keep this?, by marcosamm<\/li>\n<li>PWD vacancies, by Universo Aleat\u00f3rio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The jury, which will feature representatives from Amazon, the Association for Assistance to Disabled Children (AACD), the Dorina Nowill Foundation for the Blind, and the J\u00f4 Clemente Institute, will announce the winners in February.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SOURCE:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecmundo.com.br\/software\/209634-amazon-anuncia-finalistas-premio-alexa-acessibilidade.htm\">TecMundo<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A\u00a0Amazon\u00a0anunciou, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (19), as skills selecionadas para concorrer ao\u00a0Pr\u00eamio Alexa de Acessibilidade.
