On the third day of Reatech 2024, the SEDPcD booth will discuss accessibility and inclusion through three initiatives. Entrepreneurship for people with disabilities will be the topic of a lecture given by Prof. Marco Antonio from Sebrae. The mobility of people with disabilities is the theme of a discussion panel in partnership with the São Paulo Metro, EMTU, and CPTM. The Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) will present the panel “3D printing as an alternative for the production of assistive technology.”.
The athletes of Team SP Paralympic, including some called up for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, will be present for a Q&A session. Highlights include Jenifer de Azevedo, from track and field; swimmers Dennis Simões and Roberto Alcalde; judoka fighters Elielton Lira and Rebeca de Souza; and Serginho Veiga, from wheelchair basketball.
The Libras workshops, taught by deaf instructors, take place during the four days of the event. Visitors can also, during this period, request the issuance of the Identification Card for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder (CipTEA). For those looking for opportunities in the job market, the Inclusive Employability Hub (PEI) will be ready to welcome interested individuals and companies.
