The future of professional inclusion takes center stage at Arena Empregar, at Reatech 2025

Employment Arena at the Reatech fair with booths for inclusive job opportunities

Space dedicated to employability will bring together companies, organizations, and diversity experts to connect talent and promote inclusion in the workforce.

Generating real job opportunities and strengthening diversity and inclusion policies in the Brazilian market will be the focus of the Employ Arena, one of the main spaces of Reatech 2025 – International Fair of Inclusion, Accessibility and Rehabilitation, which takes place in parallel with the second edition of the Brazilian Paralympic Expo, come in November 6 and 8, at São Paulo Expo. The environment will bring together companies with open positions, HR consultants, educational institutions, and specialized entities, creating a complete ecosystem of guidance and professional direction for people with disabilities. In addition to concrete opportunities for market insertion, the space will promote lectures, mentorships, and connections with experts who work to promote diversity in organizations.

More than a recruitment environment, the Employ Arena it will be a concrete bridge between discourse and practice. “It is not just about opening doors, but about ensuring that people find real pathways for integration, growth, and leadership. The focus of the space is to generate true connections, born from Reatech's commitment to uniting business, social impact, and human experience in the same environment,” she highlights Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, organizer of the fair.

Virtual Reality and Supported Employment: The leading role of the Instituto Jô Clemente

Among the most innovative spaces in this edition is that of Jô Clemente Institute (IJC), which will present to the public its Virtual Reality Project, developed in partnership with Alstom Foundation. The initiative simulates the route between the Institute and the Santa Cruz subway station, allowing people with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to experience real public transportation situations through virtual reality glasses—an essential experience to promote autonomy, reduce fear, and develop urban skills.

“The project is a concrete tool for inclusion. When a person with an intellectual disability or ASD is able, through technology, to experience daily life safely and gradually, they gain the confidence to face real challenges, including commuting to work. This means more independence, more access, and more dignity,” explains Flávio González, Social Inclusion Coordinator of the Jô Clemente Institute.

During the event, the IJC will also promote the lecture “Inclusion of neurodivergent individuals through supported employment: experiences, challenges, and pathways”, sharing evidence-based practices and results achieved over more than six decades of work in promoting autonomy and professional insertion.

Employability with purpose: retail and the partners of Arena Empregar

O Sincovaga-SP (Retail Food Trade Union of the State of São Paulo) is participating in Reatech once again with the program Coexist, which occupies an expanded 100 m² booth at Employ Arena. The space will feature an LED panel, a lecture hall, a lounge area, and accessible public service, also housing the partners. Varejo Contrata, Nurap, Sesc, Assaí, Carrefour, and Mackenzie, among others.

Will be held conversation circles with specialists and companies on productive inclusion, diverse recruitment, and innovative people management practices. Among the topics are:

  • “Open Doors: practical tips for resume and interview” (Carrefour Brasil Group);
  • “MudaMente – a game and many learnings” (Thays Toyofuku and JP Polo);
  • “Talking about Autism and Inclusion” (Interagir Institute);
  • “Accessibility beyond what we can see” Mackenzie;
  • “Criteria for Characterizing a Person with a Disability” (José Carlos do Carmo – Kal);
  • “First Signs for Inclusion” Nurap;
  • “Building inclusive workplaces” (SESC SP).

“Reatech is always a space for opportunities, learning, and transformation. The Coexistir conversation circles reinforce the importance of knowledge and active listening to promote truly accessible environments,” she/he points out Maria de Fátima e Silva, program coordinator.

An ecosystem of inclusion and social transformation

Curated towards employability, accessibility, and innovation, the Arena Empregar reinforces Reatech's commitment to promoting connections between companies and diverse professionals, integrating public, private, and third-sector initiatives. Among the confirmed partners are HR organizations, assistive technology startups, and entities dedicated to training people with disabilities and marginalized groups.

Stop Maurício Macedo, the event represents a milestone in the dialogue between inclusion and the labor market: “Reatech and Arena Empregar symbolize the new era of inclusive employability. It is time for the productive sector to understand that diversity is not only a social value, but also a competitive advantage and a collective responsibility.”
