CPB will hold the 1st Brazilian Paralympic Expo together with Reatech 2024

The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) will be present at the 19th edition of Reatech. The fair will take place from November 20 to 23, 2024, at the São Paulo Expo, in the capital of São Paulo.

The announcement of the entity's participation in the event was made last Sunday, the 5th, during the blind football match between Brazil and France, held at the Paralympic Training Center in São Paulo.

In this action, the CPB will seek to restore the market by bringing inclusion, accessibility, and diversity to all sectors of the country's economy.

Additionally: to strengthen and activate, through sports, brands to support the cause of transforming the reality of people with disabilities.

“The participation of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee in Reatech will be more than a simple exhibition,” stated Mizael Conrado, president of the BPC and two-time Paralympic champion in blind football.

“The proposal is to raise everyone's awareness about the importance of sport in the lives of people with disabilities, not only as a rehabilitation tool, but also as a means to promote health, social inclusion, and personal development,” she adds.

Through its projects and the life stories of its Paralympic athletes, the CPB will demonstrate the certainty that sport has the power to transform lives.

During the fair, the CPB and confederations will showcase a range of activities and information aimed at promoting Paralympic sport and generating business for the segment.

Demonstrations of various adapted sports disciplines will be held, allowing visitors to experience practicing these sports, in addition to meeting Paralympic athletes.

CPB will also take the opportunity to highlight the fundamental role of sports development programs across the country.

There will also be the Paralympic Congress, aimed at students and professionals who work or wish to work with Paralympic sports.

The partnership between Fiera Milano Brasil, the organizer of Reatech, and the CPB had already begun in 2023 with the Paralympic Arena, which allowed the public to get closer to four sports disciplines:

– Wheelchair basketball, boccia, blind football, and athletics.

“The Expo Brasil Paralímpico is born giant, taking place alongside Reatech, the leading sector fair in Latin America,” celebrates Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil.

“We are uniting and leveraging strengths to talk about inclusion. The CPB has a very large reach throughout the country and we will walk together so that this topic is increasingly present in society, she adds.

The entities are entering into a partnership that provides for the joint holding of both events over the next five years.

“We are going to promote a large visitor area, which, in addition to the entire sports area connected to the CPB, features new technologies, companies, and governments. Always aiming to promote improvements for people with disabilities,” concludes Macedo.
