On this Saturday afternoon (23), the Reashow - Exhibitors Seminar received Dr. Wolf Kos, founder of the Olga Kos Institute (IOK), to speak on the topic “You only manage what you measure. Those who do not measure do not manage,” during the 19th International Inclusion, Accessibility and Rehabilitation Fair, at São Paulo Expo.
Kos's lecture addressed how the exclusion of people with disabilities is the result of a lack of knowledge and reliable metrics. “Reatech is the largest inclusion fair in Latin America. Being here to talk about inclusion and the changes that are necessary in the Brazilian Inclusion Law is an honor for all of us,” she states.
17 years ago The Olga Kos Institute promotes social inclusion and develops artistic and sports projects for people with disabilities and those in situations of social vulnerability. What started with two classes of nine people now serves more than 6,500 participants in São Paulo, 280 in the Federal District, and 120 in Rio. The Institute is also responsible for the creation of the first metric accredited by the What INMETRO is looking for measure the practice of inclusion in companies under the ESG category, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance.
