This Wednesday (20), São Paulo Expo hosts the 19th edition of the International Fair for Inclusion, Accessibility, and Rehabilitation (Reatech). Recognized as a benchmark in the sector, the event will feature a booth promoted by the State Secretariat for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (SEDPcD) as a highlight in programming.
On the first day of Reatech 2024, the SEDPcD booth welcomes athletes from the Paralympic Team SP, including some who have been called up for the Paris 2024 Paralympics, for a panel discussion about their experiences. Highlights include Nathalie Filomena and Daniel Yoshizawa from Sitting Volleyball, Sabrina Custódia from Cycling, Estephany de Oliveira from Athletics, and Claro Lopes from Para Taekwondo.
The Institute for Technological Research is promoting a lecture on technological advances for people with disabilities, highlighting tools for digital access and inclusive communication. The Regional Council of Psychology of São Paulo (CRP-SP) is holding a debate on the importance of inclusive policies and the expansion of rights for people with disabilities.
The Libras workshops, taught by deaf instructors, take place during the four days of the event. Visitors can also, during this period, request the issuance of the Identification Card for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder (CipTEA). For those looking for opportunities in the job market, the Inclusive Employability Hub (PEI) will be ready to welcome interested individuals and companies.
