Developing equipment that guarantees mobility and autonomy for people with disabilities (PWD), but with comfort and even luxury. This is the challenge presented by Cavenaghi during the 17th Reatech – International Fair of Rehabilitation, Inclusion, and Accessibility Technologies. The intention, according to Mônica Lupatin, the company's commercial director, is to show that people with disabilities can have sophisticated products.
At the brand's booth, visitors can test an accessibility system for wheelchair users installed in a Jeep Commander, which is priced around R$ 315 mil. “Up to now, there has always been talk about adapting basic cars. But we have acquired know-how and decided to also make adaptations to luxury cars for wheelchair users,” Mônica points out.
And for children, the company is presenting two pediatric strollers at the fair, featuring a seat and backrest assembly with postural adjustment that can be driven by remote control by the caregiver or by the child themselves, depending on their physical impairment.
In line with offering more luxury to products intended for people with disabilities, Cavenaghi is highlighting at Reatech its line of postural stabilizers and positioning chairs, made of wood with individual adjustments. “We understand that people with disabilities deserve a more elaborate product.” “So much so that these stabilizers have a finish with animal themes, which makes them more attractive.”.
