São Paulo, June 2019– A competition to stimulate challenges and find potential athletes will be held in 16th Reatech – International Fair of Technologies for Rehabilitation, Inclusion, and Accessibility.The RadCross wheelchair championship will be held during the event on June 15 and 16, at the LIVRE booth, at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
RadCross is a sport similar to Bike Trial, with the difference that it is played with wheelchairs. Organized by LIVRE, a company specialized in the development of assistive equipment, the championship is sponsored by Kit Livre, motorized equipment that has the function of transforming a wheelchair into an Electric Motorized Tricycle.
During the circuit, the competition will always be between two participants. The one with the best time wins. The proposal is to stimulate the perspective of achievement that the competitor wants to reach. “This sports modality shows that limit is a word to be overcome. So, we will bring a competition with obstacles, precisely to represent that they can be surpassed,” explains Cassius Simões de Oliveira, Marketing supervisor at Kit Livre.
There will be three tournaments over two days of Reatech. On June 15 and 16, amateurs will compete, and on June 16, the professionals. The top three finishers in the amateur category will qualify for the professional championship, alongside the discipline's professional athletes. “Our idea is to promote the inclusion of inclusion, which is why we always want to give as many people as possible the chance to participate and have fun with us,” he says.
Kit Livre takes advantage of Reatech's national recognition to consolidate its sports products and get an immediate response from the visitors who will use its equipment. “Reatech gives us the opportunity to have closer contact with the public, the ones who actually use our equipment.
